With reference to Finnish culture, the folklore teapot is made to store some of the cultures tradition and habits.
Drinking from the saucer allows for the hot drink to cool down faster
The shape of the rim detail suggests the placing of the lip
The insulation around the teapot is formed by a woven basket out of Silver Birch bark. A traditional craft worked into the round shape of the pot.
